Disaster One

Disaster One answered my call when no one else would when I needed help. They went out of their way to help even in the middle of the night. I wouldn't choose anyone else when an emergency comes up.

Disaster One did a fantastic job for us recently with a major issue. They were fast, friendly and very efficient in getting the job completed for our residents whom were completely satisfied. Craig touched base with us on a daily basis which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend Disaster One.

We used Disaster One to mitigate water damage in our house. They were referred to us by our plumber and looked okay online. Little did I know at the time, Disaster One had recently acquired Apex, the very poorly rated company online, and was sending them to our house instead. They didn't do an initial inspection and therefore failed to identify that the leak was actually coming from the middle of our house. They even made us sign some suspicious paper acknowledging the water wasn't drying. This didn't seem suspicious to these "professionals". The same day that they removed the machines, the flood was back where it was. We called them but they said they couldn't come back until the source of the leak had been properly detected. A professional leak detection company came and ran tests and proved the central leak was the original problem. Disaster One failed to answer or return our calls. Finally, our plumber called them because they were being dodgy. A "supervisor" recently transferred here came to our house and apologized that now it was too late to save our kitchen cabinets. He inspected more of the damage and said he'd be back. Only, when he left, he and the plumber conspired that there was two separate leaks and that removed their liability to our poor house. Only, the insurance company, the adjuster and the leak detection tests proved this is not the case. Kyle said his hands were tied because the insurance had to decide. They would be back after that. They're liars that destroyed my house. They're not coming back, they pass off liability so they don't have to acknowledge that it was their incompetence that ruined my kitchen. An initial inspection of the whole house would have revealed the leak source two weeks prior! And they would have been able to dry it. Now we're stuck trying to replace our cabinets that are now moldy. They are a dishonest and deplorable company. Now that I've had to work with a host of contractors to replace the rest of everything that was damaged, I come to find out that this is how Disaster One does business. I will let and continue to let know in the future how badly Disaster One treats their customers. I know that if they fail to thoroughly and accurately do their work, they too will go out of business. I am extremely disappointed that Disaster One continues to lie about this and take advantage of us during this vulnerable time, despite the concrete evidence of their failure. My entire neighborhood saw them here everyday and that we still had issues. I've made sure they all know to go with the other company that other contractors have continually recommended in Brandon. Too bad I didn't know that in advance. SHAME ON YOU DISASTER ONE!
