Welcome to Neu Lodge Motel Thank you for visiting us. We offer a small quiet retreat when you get tired of the fast paced city, or just need to get away. Conveniently located, Neu Lodge Motel is the closest motel to a boat ramp on Shasta Lake. It's a favorite for hunting, boating and fishing trips on Shasta Lake and family reunions. Our pool is popular with the kids, and our park-like backyard hosts a picnic area with barbeque pits. Sometimes kids will even camp out back while mom and dad stay in the comfortable motel. Neu Lodge Motel is in the town of Lakehead on the northern end of Shasta Lake's Sacramento arm. Lakehead is a great central location for sightseeing and outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, boating, hiking, backpacking and skiing. We are in Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area, minutes from Shasta Caverns and Shasta Dam, and less than an hour from both Mt. Shasta and Lassen Volcanic National Park.
