Schaff International began in the wire business more than 125 years ago as a manufacturer of piano strings. It expanded to meet changing needs and became a major distributor of music wire, stainless steel, plated wire, hard-drawn wire and many special grades, as well as straightened-and-cut applications. Schaff specializes in wire products manufactured to specifications. An industry leader in quality and consistency, Schaff offers straight and cut wire with precision rotary and torsion straightening of .006 through .250 of an inch diameter cut to required lengths up to 25 feet long. Its wire forming division also makes springs, rings and wire forms for various application. The company can also make customizable wire forms. Schaff makes state-of-the-art wire payout packs with speed control capable of start-up speed up to 361 feet per minute and with optional ratio gear box available for speeds up to 1,300 feet per minute.
