Dental Examination
An oral exam is an essential part of cleaning and spotting potential problems early. This oral examination involves checking your teeth for a wide range of dental problems. Teeth Cleaning
Professional dental cleanings (also known as prophylaxis, or prophy) is a procedure for the removal of tartar (mineralized plaque) that may develop even with careful brushing and flossing, especially in areas that are difficult to reach in routine tooth-brushing.
Fluoride Treatment
For children, and sometimes adults, a flouride treatment will be used. Fluroide is a natural mineral that helps prevent tooth decay by making teeth more resistant to the acid from bacteria in plaque. Treatments can be applied to the teeth as a gel, foam or varnish.
