        Oswego Optique provides primary eye care for the entire family. Primary Eye Care includes a comprehensive vision and eye health examination. This examination is designed to detect a wide range of problems affecting vision function, such as blurred vision or eye discomfort. We use latest technology to do testing, our staff is fully trained to provide professional service. Evaluations for eye health disorders are also performed. The American Optometric Association recommends that all people should have a periodic, comprehensive eye examination every one to two years depending on ones particular needs. Examinations include tests for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and the ocular effects of many general health disorders such as diabetes and high blood pressure, as well as effects of medications. A dilated pupil examination allows us to provide the best assessment of eye health. It is recommended for all new patients and on a scheduled basis thereafter.         This is the best, most helpful office for eye care that I have ever had the pleasure of working with in all my years of needing eye care. The office manager, Denise, is a dream to work with and the office staff takes her lead. I have literally had bad experiences with office staff that are so bad that I have had to find a new doctor. Sometimes, they are just snobby or just plain not nice. I refuse to be mistreated at places I choose to do business with. In my most recent interaction, they provided a very personalized visit for my son. He is 26 and just wouldn't get his eyes checked even though we knew he needed vision enhancement. He just did not want to deal with it. I called Denise and she thoroughly empathized with me. She helped my son's visit go smoothly by setting up a file for him ahead of time and even validating his insurance. All he had to do when he got there was review what was pre-set up for him! And she fit him in on his next day off, just two days later. By the way, my son had called a different place and the said they were not taking new patients until more than 30 days later. They put him on hold for over five minutes. He finally just hung up. The doctor is fantastic and amazing too. My son already has his new glasses and they are terrific!

        Excellent doctors. Professional and friendly staff. Great selection of eyewear options. We have been coming to Oswego Optique for over 10 years and we highly recommend it!
