Cosmopolitan Title Agency Inc: suite 1100

I had this company assigned to me for closing on a refinance with American Airlines Credit Union. I was refinancing my mortgage within 1 year and 11 months of owning the property. This title agency charge me the full amount of a new Owners Policy and never bother to ask me if I had a policy before the loan was finalized. The failure from this agency cost me over $1,000.00 because I should had be given the re-issue rate. As a consumer we might not know all the requirements of the program, however the title agency as being tasked to make sure all the documents are accurate failed to ask for this document, costing me well over $1,000. I reach out to them and their response was "If we had the policy at the time of closing, we certainly would have applied the credit" How was I supposed to know that !!!
