Christie Dental

I am 30 year old non smoking male who started on a new insurance carrier and went to this practice for a year and a half and experienced an uncaring staff who performed unnecesarry procedures, sloppy cleanings, and told me I had to purchase special mouth wash. On the last occasion, I was refused a pain prescription for relief from beggining orthodontic care, even on a referall from my orthodontist. (Orthodontists don't write prescriptions) After switching dentists from a pretty good suspicion I was not receiving the best care for my hundreds of dollars spent, I realised that Christie Dental lied to me and told me I have periodontal disease, for which I bought 'special' mouth wash. And the mouth wash was just mouth wash, like the kind you buy from the grocery store, but it cost four times as much.Combine the mouth wash with unecessary procedures related to the periodontal disease ( which my new dentist said I have never had) and other questionable procedures and I was obviously taken advantage. Did I forget to mention the cleanings were sloppy and after four visits I never was once seen by the doctor??

I have had the worst experience I have ever had with a dentist or anyone in the dental field. This place seems like it is run by children. Not clean, freezing cold, (I shoke the entire 4 hrs in the chair , so the workers could be comfortable moving around), Guy sitting behing fromt desk talking to co-worker about facebook,drinking, going out etc. . I had to listen to that while filling out my paperwork. TVs in the room's while u wait, however they never actually play them. They had me sign paperwork that they later wrote on , so it seemed as though I signed for all of it. Had my financial plan figured out and much to my surprise when I left after sitting in the chair , yet another 4 hrs asked me for almost $800.00. Just wanted me to pull it out of my pocket. What happened from the week before till then? It was a sales pitch from the very beginning and all I really needed was a root canal and crown to help with my pain. After all is done I will be at $4000.00. They are very confused and only interested in sales. Did anyone there actually attend school, or live life ethically or morally because they certainly do not in their business practice. If u choose to go there good luck, but I will tell u for your own benefit, DO NOT GO THERE! You are at their mercy and they sure do take advantage of that!!!!
