        If you want to eat great seafo...

        If you want to eat great seafood at a great price in a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere, Lake Jackson Seafood is the place for you. Even the heartiest eater will probably wind up taking home left-overs, their servings are that generous. The service was friendly and prompt, and we felt very welcomed.



        Our group of 7 had a range of their menu: Gumbo... thumbs-up from the gumbo-lovers; Fried Red Snapper and Catfish... delicious, flaky and fresh; Fried Fish & Tails (crawfish)... excellent, and really loved the Tails; Chicken Fried Rice... the best I ever had; Chicken Fried Steak... very tasty; Hamburger... very good; French Fries... fresh and crispy; Cole Slaw... really good. We ate there twice during our vacation (once as take-out), we loved it so much... and we had enough left-overs for a generous supper both times. <grin>

        This is a family restaurant and has very good seafood, burgers, etc. and a small town atmosphere you will enjoy!

        Very Poor Customer Service

        The worst customer service you can possibly find in any restaurant in Texas. If you enjoy mediocre food and a cashier with very bad attitude - then enjoy - otherwise, stay clear of Lake Jackson Seafood and Kara!

        We live in Lake Jackson. There are lots of restaurants, but this one is reasonably priced and has a wide variety of seafood dishes plus hamburgers and steaks. Fried shrimp are popular here and theirs are as good as any in this community. (Shrimp boats ply the Gulf of Mexico out of Freeport, which is 8 miles distant.). Side dishes include dirty rice and fried vegetables - a very satisfactory portion. We get take-out and have patronized them very frequently. Way better than pizza.We live in Lake Jackson.
