Lake Jackson Child Care Center

My son absolutely loves this place and I do to. My son has learned so much since he started there. I love that everyday when he gets home he is so excited to tell me about his day. The owner and the staff are amazing couldn't ask for a better group. Thanks for all y'all do for us!!

I could not be any happier with Lake Jackson Child Care Center! January 2017 will mark 3 years that our daughter has been going there and it has been GREAT! The staff and owners are awesome and our daughter looks forward to going! During the recent holiday break when I gave our daughter the option of going to daycare or staying home, she mostly chose to go join the fun at LJCCC! I felt compelled to write this review as when I woke my daughter up this morning, all she could talk about was going to daycare...they must be doing something right!! I am a life long resident of this area and I would highly recommend LJCCC!

Wish I could rate 0 stars! This daycare is the absolute WORST daycare I've ever seen. There's NO structure. One employee is a certified "teacher" but EVERYTIME I came to pick up my 22mo (no matter the time of day) they were NEVER teaching the children anything. If you want to pay $135 for a CARELESS babysitter this is the place! My 22mo has asthma so when the weather started to change in October I KNOW to dress my daughter in long sleeve shirts everyday. One day I go to pick up my child & she's running around with her undershirt on & asked why & their response was, "oh in case she got hot". The very next day they were blowing up my cellular phone at work & calling every contact number in my daughters file telling us to come & pick her up because she was sick & vomiting non stop. I had to put my child on her nebulizer as soon as I left work early to pick her up. Not to mention I'm a BISD employee. I had to miss work one day the next week to take my child to the ER because she never got well from the shirt incident. Everyday after that when picking up my child she would have a DRIED UP runny nose like they never wiped her nose until me or her dad came to pick her up. My child would come home biting, pinching & (trying to) pop family members & it was clear that it had been done to her & when I asked them at the child care about it they don't know the how, the what, the where or the when. The workers are liars & they take FULL advantage of the fact that your child can't talk & tell you what's going on. When you bring these issues to the owner her response 99% of the time is... *shrugs shoulders* Oh well! She has a nonchalant attitude & she's extremely rude & reminds you of a WITCH! She can't keep employees let alone children. These are only some of the issues I've had with my child being in this daycare not even 2 full months. I pulled my baby out of that daycare on a Monday & *Shockingly* she gave me a refund after charging me $30 for one day. My mother had a licensed home daycare for 10yrs & no parent faced ANY of these problems. I would work there after school & it was always fun, loving & educational for the children it was a home away from home. Ask anyone in the community about Lake Jackson Child Care & watch the expressions & listen to the facts & opinions. I WISH I WOULD'VE done that before enrolling my child into that place. If you really love your child spare them from this careless place!
