Dental Examination
When visiting our office, Dr. Phillipe and Dr. Hauser personally tend to each patient by ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered completely. Each dentist will conduct a thorough oral examination to assess the extent of any decay or a dental cavity exists.
X-rays
Patients often wonder if dental x-rays are safe. While x-rays do use low-level radiation to capture images, the amount of radiation exposure a patient receives from a full mouth series of dental x-rays is equal to what a person normally receives in a single day from natural sources present in our everyday lives. With precautions in place, x-rays are perfectly safe.

Teeth Cleaning
This is a patient who came to use with severe plaque build up, gum disease and severely worn dentin (brought on by bruxism – teeth grinding). Without proper care and regular teeth cleaning by Registered Dental Hygienists two times per year, this can build up quickly.
Fluoride Treatment
When used in small amounts, fluoride is safe and effective. At many pediatric dentists, topical fluoride is used as a preventative agent to protect and strengthen tooth enamel. At Lakefront Family Dentistry, our dentists offer fluoride treatment once children understand not to swallow it.
Dental Sealants
Sealants are thin, protective coatings that protect permanent molars and back teeth, which are susceptible to decay since they are located in hard-to-reach areas. Although a kid’s dentist will model and demonstrate proper brushing and flossing techniques during exams, even the best children’s dentist knows that these teeth won’t always be brushed properly.

Resin Composite

I graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry as a member of Tau Kappa Omega Honors Society. After Dental School, I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the United States Army. The additional one on one training with many specialists gave me an unmatched opportunity to learn advanced treatment and comprehensive care. While serving our Soldiers at Fort Carson, I had the unique opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a practice with 10 dentists, while teaching and training other Dentists and Dental Assistants to provide advanced specialty care. It taught me the value of having the most educated and skilled team available. My patients deserve it. In private practice I have continued to pursue extensive training, giving my patients the convenience of having most specialty treatment completed in our practice.
