The West Georgia Health System offers health care services throughout western Georgia and eastern Alabama. It has been operational for more than 60 years and is located in LaGrange, Ga. The system is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by the Department of Health and Human Services to accept Medicare patients. The U.S. Health Care Financing Administration designated it as a rural referral center, and it is a member of the LaGrange Troup County Chamber of Commerce. West Georgia Health System employs a work force of more than 1,400 full-time staff members who offer numerous health screenings, informative classes and support groups every month.
