If I could give 0 stars, I gladly would. We have trusted Dr. Arihood for years with our pets. He told us our sweet dog Oppy had an intestinal tract infection, gave him antibiotics, and sent us home. 10 days into medicine he was still the same. We went back and he got another 10 day prescription. We eventually took him to another vet where they did blood work and xrays that should have been done in the first place. Oppy had swallowed a bouncy ball and it was lodged in his intestines. He lost almost 40 pounds in the time he was on those antibiotics. He had to have emergency surgery and passed shortly afterwards. If Dr. Arihood would have done what we asked in the beginning, our dog would likely still be here. So absolutely disappointed in the care our dog got. We took him to Wea Animal Hospital and they did everything in their power to save him. We have found a wonderful new vet with Wea Animal Hospital.

They were extremely helpful & friendly! Took great care of our cat. So we got much information and were not pressured into blood tests, like other vets. The prices are perfect. I recommend them whole heartedly.

I have been going here for several years, and I know first hand that his prices have tripled.

When I lived in West Lafayette(going to school) I took my dogs their and he did an amazing job everytime. He is a no nonsense kind of doctor and does a great job of doing anything to make your pet better. And the best thing about him is that it is a great deal. I have lived in MN, GA, IN, OK, and CA and he is the best out of all the places we lived. Even though you can't read a word he writes on paper he is the best find! If you live in the area of Lafayette he is a must.

Dr Arihood is exceptional with animals. He is wonderful and treats the animals like you would want. He is gentle and our animals love him. He is super intelligent and will try numerous different treatment when one does not work. Our dog has severe allergies, ear problems including chronic yeast, and habitual scratching and chewing his skin and ears. He also has a few behavioral issues. Dr Arihood has always been great at finding the best treatments to solve our dogs issues, even if its not the norm. Other drs will repetitively try the same meds even if they dont work the first time.



He may not always be the best people person, but he is AMAZING with animals. I give him 5 stars and would refer him to others in a heartbeat.



Not only is he an excellent vet he is affordable and will even work with you on a payment schedue if you cant afford it. He is wonderful and caring and understands that your pet is part of you family!
