Desanctis, Christine A, ATY

I have worked with several attorneys and have found Christine and her associates to be very helpful and responsive. I am involved in an extremely challenging custody case, including multiple petitions yearly (which has been ongoing for nearly ten years). Christine has been vital in representing my family and I, and in connecting us to other service providers (such as counselors, parenting coordinators, mediators, etc.) She is great at strategizing and outstanding in the courtroom. Her office contacts me regularly and monitors our services and interventions. She and her team have been wonderful!!!

I am sure the Indiana Bar Association would be interested in some of your comments. I am very familiar with Ms. DeSanctis' office practices. Any future or potential clients who have the misfortune of getting involved in DeSanctis' business have been forewarned that your money should be given to a charity of your choice rather than out the window at this place. Disgusting doesn't even begin to describe this lady with no ethics or working standards. RUN, don't walk away. Oh yes, did I forget to mention that Ms. DeSanctis was reprimanded in 2005 for official misconduct? Check Google.

She is a waste of time and money. Since she took on my case I am worse off than if I would have just agreed to the crappy settlement my ex was trying to deal me. If you have the option to hire her, or flush money down the toilet, flush it because it will be more productive. She refused to fight for any of the ridiculously reasonable requests I made, and instead just wants me to settle for the horrible proposal that will leave me getting screwed over. She isn't completely worthless though, because someone has to be the bad example.

This is great news!! Hopefully she will still be awefull. My husbands ex needs to go down and this is her lawyer!

HORRIBLE!!! Doesn't even deserve 1 star but I was forced to give a star rating. Pathetic excuse for an attorney. I have never written a review in my life, but I will find everywhere DeSanctis is listed and write a review to warn people of how terrible she is. Same problem as all the other reviews, take warning, all the reviews say she sucks for the same reason. Non responsive, charged for BS stuff her legal aide does that takes 10 seconds like "read e-mail - .1hrs - $75" Oddly enough the e-mails that were read were NEVER responded to. She doesn't listen to what you say, wants everything her way, doesn't get stuff signed, is NEVER in the office, always on vacation or practicing law in Florida!!!!! We requested our file numerous times so we could switch attorneys and/or see what all had been done. This is OUR PROPERTY by the way, and were told Christine had it with her and she was in Florida, or in another county, or at home, etc. Constant lie after lie, followed by no communication, followed by no results. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ATTORNEY!!!!

I've had the same problems as everyone else. 11 months after paying my retainer, not one piece of paper has been signed let alone filed! Her office will not call you with updates as promised. They will tell you the planned course of action and then do something different without your consent. If you request a particular way you want your case handled, they will not follow your request. When I checked in after my initial consultation, I found that nothing we had discussed was written in the file, and the attorney had no idea what we had even talked about! When I said that was unacceptable, I was told that she was distracted that day because she was about to leave on vacation! Find anyone but her!

I was getting a divorce and had children and property. She did not keep me up to date on anything, and she wanted to do everything her way. Like I had no say in my divorce. I ended up with a crazy 285.00 a week child support and my ex got everything because I didn't do things the way she wanted me to. NOT A GOOD LAWYER!!!! Find someone else. She don't even deserve 1 star if you ask me.

Better off on your own.2 years for a simple divorce no children no property. Inflated charges. Charged for mistakes the lawfirm made and had to resubmit. nonresponsive. Does not return calls, does not keep you informed or follow your direction.
