Ladysmith Veterinary Clinic

My experience with this Veterinarian was superb! When I needed my German Shepherd neutered, they were quick to answer questions and to schedule an appointment. When the time came for the neutering, they were gentle in their approach (if my dog is uncomfortable and afraid, it is not a good experience for any of us!) and they were very informative with the aftercare. I had concerns after the neutering, and my questions were passed on to the Veterinarian. I waited only a short while before the Vet contacted me personally, and I assumed he was busy, which is to be expected! I have no problem waiting, especially with the professional services that were provided! I will take my companions to nobody else!

Regarding the reviews of people answering the phone with an attitude...Look, we all have bad days! We all get snippy! My opinion as a consumer/customer/patient: if you have a concern or complaint, PLEASE take it up with the business before posting online! Seriously! If someone had an issue with you, would you rather they go telling everyone in the world, or come to you and discuss it? Personally, as a member of the community using a service being provided to said community, you would be remiss to overlook the importance of confronting an issue head on in order to form a relationship. But, that is just my opinion!
I hope your future experience is as great as mine was! Remember: They only want to help!

I am a student from globe university doing my internship at Ladysmith Vet Clinic. They have recently changed from mostly large animal to mainly companion animals. You can't find a better doctor that is more compassionate and caring. Just in the week I have spent there, I know that they truly care about each and every patient.

I also received a very nasty unfriendly woman who answered the phone when I inquired about the services (I have dogs) I asked if the Dr who made farm calls could come out as our dogs are huge and difficult for my hubby & I we are both retired and they can be a little much for u I told her we would be glad to pay the customary fees I was told NO in no uncertain terms and when I told her it was strange they would come out for a horse or a cow but not 2 dogs who are very friendly and not mean at all.. she become even more irate!
