Claim Jumper

The food is delicious! I don't recommend the meatloaf. Yucky! Might of been a bad day for the chef. It's a hit and miss at Claim Jumpers.

I took my Dad and Mom today for brunch to celebrate Mother's Day. All 3 of us were very disappointed with the food! Most menu item was covered with cheese, the chicken tasted stale, everything was greasy. For the $24.99 per person buffet, that was the most lousy food we had ever eaten, the worst ever! Today was the very first time we had eaten there, and never again!!!!!! Claim Jumper is one of the worst in town!!!!

My wife and I have enjoyed this Claim Jumper since it opened, where we would frequently dine out, including holiday dinners! It had become one of our most FAV restaurants...until today. We decided to use a gift card for an early dinner, and as we usually like to do, we sat in the bar area to watch some games & enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail. Diners were sparse, however you would not have known that from our personality-challenged server, who seemed to be rushing around, why we have no idea because 4 other servers sat and watched the game! To say the service was poor would be a compliment! After finally taking our orders, and waiting what seemed an eternity, our 'rushed' server whisked by to tell us he had forgotten to place my wife's order, so there would be a further delay! After rushing by several more times offering 'a few more minutes' excuses, our meals arrived...what a disappointment! My usual favorite of fish & chips that use to be large succulent pieces of fresh deep fried cod, were now 4 small pieces of less-than-mediocre overly battered white fish, and my wife's favorite...large thick juicy slices of homemade meatloaf, looked like it came out of some frozen bought dinner! Did I mention that their old thick-cut yummy french fries were now replaced with a mountain of rewarmed shoestring fries! We heard that this Claim Jumper had changed ownership, but we never expected such a terrific restaurant that it WAS, would sink so deep into just another lack-luster food 'joint'! Oh, and I guess that CJ now offers 'day care' service too, as the entire bar area was filled with screaming small children running around as their parent's all seemed to be texting while they ate!!....wonderful...we won't be back!
