J.McLaughlin's La Jolla store is located on Girard Avenue at The Village, situated right along the central coast of San Diego County. La Jolla is a hilly, affluent community that occupies seven miles of beautiful curving coastlines. Things like real estate, health, and education are among the most central cornerstones of this unique community. The name is also steeped in myth. Some say La Jolla means "The Jewel" in Spanish, while others claim it's a play on words the Kumeyaay Indians indigenous to the area dubbed while originally hunting here.
