Bull & Bear

My family and I went for lunch on May 15th. The first clue what was in store for us was the owner's apron, which read: "Bit&h Kitchen". We ordered a hot dog, a louisiana sausage and a salad. The hot dog and sausage came out on a plate with a bun and meat, and one little slice of pickle, the size of a potato chip. Nothing else. No onions, no relish, no bag of chips or fries. For .. get this: 9.00! The menu pricing on the website is not accurate. When my brother in law complained, and refused to accept the 9.00 bun and sausage (the size of a small hot dog) The owner came over and started yelling at us! She said if we couldn't afford to eat in La Jolla, we shouldn't be there. Then she went on to say she pays 15,000 a month in rent. It's a high end eatery and 9.00 for a bun and meat should be acceptable to us. Add fries for 2 bucks. Meantime, my Brother in law stood his ground. The few people waiting to be seated promptly turned around and went back down the stairs. She lost about 8 people having a tantrum. She actually ran down the stairs trying to get them back.
