These crooks are unbelievable! I wish I had read online reviews before placing an order and receiving NOTHING. They refuse to give a refund. They are so rude, too! I am going to start a money-taking business, too. I will set up a website and you can place orders and pay me for things that you will never receive. Do not buy bees--or anything else--from these scammers!

Scammers who will take your money and run. No bees. No communication except for blame laid elsewhere. They will not refund but I see that they continue to take orders. I also see from reviews and hear from local beekeepers that I am definitely not alone in being blatantly ripped off. I wish there was a zero star rating for these thieves.

WORST BEE EXPERIENCE EVER! I called in an order on the 9th of the month. I didn't receive a tracking number within a few days so I sent them an email to ask for it - NEVER heard back. Today which is the 19th - TEN DAYS LATER - I called and spoke to a woman who said she was the MANAGER. She told me the order had not been filled and that they were extremely busy. She said that it would go out today or tomorrow. I said that was unacceptable and asked her to send it priority as I was not willing to wait another week to get it. She couldn't get it through her thick scull that this would have been good customer service and REFUSED to send it priority and kept saying "it will go out ground shipping today or tomorrow". An order shouldn't take 2 weeks to get to me and I have a huge problem with her "not caring" about good customer service. I will NEVER buy from them again. TERRIBLE attitude like it was my fault - she stated many times that they were busy, and I told her - I'm glad but if that's your attitude and if your shipping is that slow - you won't be busy very long and you certainly don't need my business! I requested a full refund to my card! - Let's just see how long that takes to get! I'm DONE!

Awful. Paid $200 for bees and got nothing for it! They took the money and ran. Bees died in transit and they wouldn't give me a refund. They wouldn't even respond to my messages. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but they couldn't even get a response. Stay away, these guys are definitely shady!

We ordered early May bees (Nuc), which never came... Never recevied any phone calls or emails regarding the delay. Called and was told that there was a delay we should have them in a week or two... By mid June we finally cancelled our order and was told that we would receive a refund check in the mail.Called this morning and was told that they were not going to refund our money because there is no refund on bees... What bees??? We never received any!! We will never do buisiness here again. Also, we live a hour away and have had no problem with beekeepers spliting their bees...

I was pretty happy with my bees coming from Pigeon Mountain. They could communicate better (I had to make initial contact), but they did respond to my calls and emails. My bees arrived in IL the Saturday before Memorial day (USPS). They were healthy and active. The instructions to install the bees were nice. I would use Pigeon Mountain again if need be.

I oredered my bees for a Mid May delivery, they did not come until May 29th (not the mid of May). They were shipped over the Memorial Day weekend, which means they sat in the post office an extra day (Monday) then because the post office was behind they did not delivery them on Tuesday, I received them on Wednesday DEAD! The post office actually delivered them to my house, needed them out of their car and I was left with two packages of dead bees. I called Pigeon Mountain and they said I need to make a claim with USPS, and that they had insured the bees for $190, which is $74.98 less than what I paid for my bees. Technically shipping was not a seperate line item and my package should have been insured for the full price I paid. I am very upset about receiving dead bees, I hope that we can work something out to make up for the mistakes that have been made.

pigeon mountain trading company gets zero "0"stars. We placed an order for 2 packages of bees that were supposed to be delivered on either the 16 th or 21 May 2013. We live in Alabama less than 4 hours so decided shipping would/should be safe with these dates. NOPE. We did no receive an email letting us know the bees had been picked up by the shipper so I followed the instructions on the web site and sent an email as they said they were VERY busy. No response, we finally called to find out they were behind in shipping. I am getting worried because we are coming up on a 3 day weekend but surly common sense will kick in and they will wait until after the holiday. NOPE they mailed them on F



riday Memorial Day weekend. We called the post office and they won't move until Monday so they are sitting in Chattanooga at the post office over the long weekend. Want to top it all off their shipping policy is that it is your problem if they don't arrive alive. HELLO,I would not have mailed them on Friday on a three day weekend. I would have been on time or mailed on Monday. BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE.
