Dr. Shea has now retired and the office is now run by a new dentist and office manager. They are great! The staff is friendly and informative and great with the kiddos!

I also was very dissatisfied with this dental office after my entire family was dropped from their patient list for backing out of an unnecessary operation on my daughter who was only 5 at the time. She had ten cavities, so they say, and needed them all crowned, which requires being put under (put to sleep). I got a second opinion. They stated it was not necessary to go that route. I'm sorry, but I was very leery about putting my 5 year old under with the risks involved. She may not have woken up. While I realize this is a rare occasion that something bad happens, I was not comfortable with even taking that risk, period. The office of Dr. Shea was notified in advance that we sought out another opinion and by their advice chose not to undergo the procedure. We were then cancelled as patients from their list. We are not to go back. That just seems awfully shady/crooked to me. In their letter of denial of further services to us, they stated that they don't feel they can best serve us unless we have a trusting relationship. Really? I visit the office ONE time and I am supposed to trust them? I hear this dentist has since recently retired, however, I can bet that their secretaries still operate the same way and whomever took over probably has stuck with their policies on this. Yes, I was told if we did not show up we would be cancelled, however, I was not told that we couldn't cancel it in advance. Let this be your warning. I hope this saves another family from the trouble.
