Came here with family. Brother, who is completely sober & only ordered water, was food poisoned by urban bar. They threatened to call the police despite him being complete non-disruptive and throwing up solely because of the food served. Waitress stood over my shoulder while tipping & confronted me about my choice not to tip. NEVER have I ever felt my privacy as a paying customer has been so violated. I wish I knew the waitress's name because she needs to be fired. Have been a loyal customer for 3 years & will never be giving them business again after such rude treatment.

We were on a pub crawl and entered this bar on a Saturday afternoon. There were two employees there who seemed completely disinterested in us. We began to put money in the jukebox and the pool table, then were told we had to leave. One member of our group had a can of beer that he had been given at the previous bar, and the staff person not only took the can from him, but told him that he could not stay. We were from out of town and attempted to explain to the manager that we did not know the local laws, but we were sorry and would be happy to buy their products. Where we are from, open containers are allowed within the bar district on Mardi Gras weekend. We would have been more than happy to leave the beer outside, had there been anyone to greet us at the door. We would have been perfectly happy to give up the can and continue enjoying their bar, and probably would have spent a considerable sum. Instead we were summarily dismissed. It was almost as if they did not want to work. We of course went on to the next bar and were very happy with the service at Patrick Sullivan's, The Manhattan and Barley's.

Go.. Its the best bar in town. It's great when they are slow and even better when they are busy. The best drink specials in town and by far the best service. Oh... and smokin hot bartenders/servers. Listen to music, play pool, play darts, or just have a beer with some friends... You'll have a great time.
