Kiddie Station

There’s one star, because this site doesn’t allow it to go in the negative.

DO NOT, under any circumstances, take your child here. Something is VERY wrong with this place, and it NEEDS to be shut down. After about a year and a half nightmare of waiting for a legal process, today I was finally able to witness a guilty plea from a former daycare worker of this establishment.

This person broke my son’s arm in half and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing. Everyone that was in ear shot of my child’s response to this severe injury, also did absolutely nothing. No one called me. No one called 911. There was no mention that anything had happened to him worth noting to me, his mother. I was simply told that he had been fine and was playing all day.

Because I know the open floor plan layout of this daycare, I know that multiple classrooms could easily hear chatter much less a child screaming out in blood curdling pain. I know more daycare workers are responsible for neglecting my child, and therefore, I know that more people should have pled guilty to reckless endangerment to a child today.

I wasn’t there when the workers of Kiddie Station Child Development Center made the decision to not even fill out an incident report for me to let me know anything harmful had ever occurred with my child.

Even though today was justice for my child, we still don’t know the entire story of what happened to him. Parts of the justice for my son are locked away in the child care workers that were there when this incident happened and have chosen silence. I assume some still work there now.

I was literally paying these people to give me full disclosure of what happened to my child in their care, and they failed. I filled out legal documents for them that gave them permission to take him to the ER without me in case of an emergency, and they couldn’t even pick up the phone to help him. And that’s something I have to make peace with.

I had two daughters attend Kiddie Station for three years and it was a wonderful experience. Both of my daughters loved going there, the staff was very friendly and I never had to worry when I left them in their classrooms. Their teachers were always sure to keep me up to date on how there day was with a daily report and their days were structured with learning and play time. I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a exceptional child care experience. Thank you to all the teachers there that cared so much and so well for my girls.
