Houston Garden Center

I am a senior and came from Tarkington to purchase 40 pieces of grass. Tried to call but phone box said it was full hang up. Son gave me another number called it leave a message will call back sometime. Went anyway young girl was helpful the man she asked about time truck might come was rude and disrespectful. No customer service at all. Customer came to my car and said he had no reason to be so disrespectful. Went to one in atasacita got all the grass I
Needed. He needs to remember it’s people like me that keeps the door open at his job

I made a purchase at the Kingwood TX store today. I was overcharged $3.00 and the cashier didn't know how to fix it. Instead of being out in the customer area to help, the manager was back in an office. I waited about 20 to 30 minutes until he finally came out after being paged twice.

We bought a Christmas tree from H. G. C. on Saturday, Dec 10th. Got it home and put sugar water in the tree stand. The next day, we got the tree decorated, had a few needles coming off, but we didn't think too much about it, as it was a tree. By Wednesday, most of the needles were on the ground. My husband took it back to Houston Garden Center and was told to call their headquarters about getting a refund. The store didn't want the tree back! And no, my husband was unable to get a refund. We will never go to one of their centers again.

The staff was not helpful and they do not accept any returns. They do have cheap prices, but you get what you pay for.

If I was able to give them a negative star I would. NOT one location answers their phones or post pricing for palets of grass. I have been calling the Kingwood & Atasocita locations for 2 days but I finally got the message - "they don't need any more business"!
