Operational for more than 40 years, Strange Elementary School is a part of Kenosha Unified School District 1. The school enrolls more than 400 students in prekindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes subjects, such as reading, writing, math, science and social studies. Strange Elementary School provides the English Language Learners program. It also offers reading recovery and early childhood programs. Strange Elementary School publishes a monthly newsletter that provides information about the school s upcoming events. The school provides the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program . In addition, it offers special education for students with special needs. Strange Elementary School is located in Kenosha, Wis.
