General Info: The Kennebunk Beach Improvement Association is a community-based, nonprofit organization that offers summer recreational and enrichment programs for children. Its unique waterfront facility is located on the coast of southern Maine. Many of its programs are offered in historic cottages and at the nearby facilities of Edgcomb Tennis Club and Webhannet Golf Club. As a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, KBIA s mission since its establishment in 1910 has been to provide an exemplary enrichment program for children and to be a positive influence in the life and welfare of Kennebunk Beach and the Kennebunk-area community. Each year KBIA extends scholarships to children of the Kennebunk area. As a focal point at Mother s Beach, KBIA is dedicated to keeping the beach safe, clean and family-friendly, offering public playgrounds and bath facilities. Throughout the summer the organization organizes family-oriented community events, such as the KBIA Day at the Beach Road Race. The Kennebunk Beach Improvement Association is located in Kennebunk, Maine.
