The Lodge at Kenedy

I have stayed at the Lodge at Kenedy a total of 6 times over the past year and can say that it is the nicest place around Karnes County. The room are clean, the people are real nice, and the place has a gated parking lot. It is, by far the best hotel I've stayed at. If you can get a room there, don't give it up!

Just experienced my 3rd stay at the Lodge in Kenedy and it was a great experience. Management and staff met my every need and were supportive and freindly. The daily breakfast was very good and made my stay in the area a pleasure. Having a computer work station available was a plus. I will visit the Lodge again when I am in the area.

It's brand new and not very clean, hair in the showers and floor. Manager very unorganized and they don't seem to know what they are doing. Changing rates every time you book and it keeps going up unless you get a room they is under contract and the guys don't show up then they will rent you one of those for less. Because they are already making money from the first company. WOW I thought that was againts the law!! It seemed like someone had gone through one of my bags, didn't really pay attention to that until I heard it happened to another person that was staying here. I think there valuables take from that room. Makes you feel very comforting knowing someone is going through your things while your not there and stealing. They just started shutting the gates I guess because of the complaints. Is it their STAFF that is stealing OR they renting out your room during the day for people to take naps. WILL not stay here again. Thought I would give it a try because it was NEW. Going back to the BEST WESTERN!!! Never had a problem there.
