Ditlevsen-Moore Chapel on-Hill

I do not feel that two staff personel and a funeral director behaved approperiately during my brother's funeral service. I heard of several complaints from friends and family regarding these three being heard in the background while the service was going on. All three were reported as having a continuous conversation which was so noticable, most ev eryone sitting in the back three rows could hear just about every word. A lot of laughng and joking around went on as well as complaints of how they all wished the funeral service would just get over with as soon as possible, because they wanted to go home. Immediately after the pasture was through speaking, all the funeral card and guest book was snatched up and put into an office, without giving any thought or considerations to attendants that might not have gotten a funeral card or an opportunity to sign the guest book. On top of all this, these same three people showed more disrespect to the family and attendants by treating them more --- like a heard of cattle, other than grieving human beings. Their intentions of getting us all out the door quickly as possible created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Lastly, before the casket was even loaded, attendants were instructed to get into their own cars and follow the funeral car to to cemetery. The funeral director actually started to get into the funeral car, without even noticing the casket was still in the funeral home. Of course the funeral director once again stared laught and cracking jokes. Once we were at the cemetery, not all of the flowers were unloaded from the funeral car. Family members had to ask staff to please unload the "rest of the flower arrangements". My experiencce was just awful, awful, awful. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. I forgot to add the the funeral director also made bad jokes and laughed quite a bit when we met with him before the funeral, to pick the casket out. I do believe he may have been a nervous peson, but his demeanor and facial expressions were totally unprofessional and made me rather uncomfortable, making me just want to run the hell out of there.
