        I haven't stayed at the resort but, the Vista Cafe is great! I heard they are now open till 8 & stopped for take out at 7:30 pm. Real nice, helpful people. The All American Bacon Cheeseburger was big and tasty, so were the fries, yum! My sister had the same except gluten free. She loved it, "Very good, they were kinda like sliders & the salad was very nice, too." (Michelle asked me when I ordered if it would be OK if they cut her burger in half because the gluten free buns are small & our burgers are 1/2 pound). I went back the next night & had the Chicken Cordon Bleu. It came with 5 red potatoes lightly spiced with Rosemary, mixed fresh veggies & side salad. OH my goodness, what a meal! Delicious, each item was very tasty. Looking around while waiting for my take out were four tables of happy diners, each table told Michelle how good their dinner was. One was super happy about his steak & another guy was gobbling up his dinner, barely looking up at his friends. Good prices & loaded plates. You have to try this little place by Clearlake State park. There are a lot more reviews in other places.
