I tried to give the a zero rating, but the system would not allow it. Buying furniture here is like buying a lottery ticket. You may win every once in a while, but in the long run, you will be a loser. They sell you furniture. If by some chance it is defective and shows issue after you take delivery, you are out of luck. Purchased a formal dining room. After one week, one of the squares on the table top that forms the veneer started to shrink and crack at the grain. I immediately called them. I was told to send a photo to their customer service via internet. I received a call a few days later telling me that since the furniture was undamaged when it was delivered, I was out of luck. So, when you are thinking about a bed, sofa, table or other furniture, keep in mind that if some part of it has a defect that is not readily visible when it is delivered, and it falls apart the minute that they leave, they will tell you "tough luck". Save your money for a reputable company that backs the products that they sell. I trust a used car salesman more than I trust these crooks.

Awful experience. :-( Save your time and frustration and shop someplace else. My wife and I took my parents there. There were in need of a new bed frame. Terrible service, low end quality furniture. My parents really didn't want to go anyplace else so we tried to buy it from Katy Furniture. It's been over a week, still no bed frame. We called repeately and tried to schedule pickup and they refuse to release our order. Just down right frustrating. Save your time and shop at Rooms To Go or Ashley or any other place. I strongly recommed to stay away from Katy Wholesale Furniture on Westgreen.

They are less pricier then other places but take no ownership over thier vendors. I paid $200 for a guardaman protection program that is basically useless. They do not process your requests then deny it because they then say it pasted the deadline for a claim. Useless!!! The furniture is very bad quality. I bought a diming table for over 1500.00 and it is very bad. The screws get loose all the time. I attempted to return them, I understand all sells are final but I got a lease with simple finance. I called simple and directed to contact katy furniturr, katy furniture tells me I have to call simple fianance. Nonownership when I told them that I was being told to go back and fourth. They said, we cant do anything for you good buy.

I do not recommend this place anymore. Bad product, bad "I dont care" customer service.

Really have great prices...staff was pretty good, not too pushy. Financed my bedroom set and love it! The delivery guys were very nice in and out in less than a hour. Over all nice experience.

We have purchased from Katy furniture many times over the years. I am surprised by the negative reviews. We have never had issues with deliveries, or furniture quality. Any salesperson that we have ever dealt with has always been very accommodating and a pleasure to have help us in finding what we are there for. The problem is nobody takes time to write a good reviews anymore so I took the time to.... keep up the good work guys.

Hands down best service in town. I bought a dining set from them 3 years ago and just moved to the other side of town. In the move the movers broke a leg and lost all the hardware for the table. I called Katy furniture and they treated me like I just purchased the item yesterday. They ordered the hardware and leg for me to pick up the next day with NO CHARGE! Thank you Stephanie for all your help.

Katy Furniture has poor customer service sucks. Will never buy anything else there. I ordered and purchased furniture over 8 weeks ago totalling over $3200 . I was told the order would take 4 to 6wks, No one ever called me back after calling twice. I went in the store and spoke w the manager which was yesterday.. The manager wasn't very helpful but stated she did inquire about my order and it would take another 2 wk. At that point I wanted to just cancel my order she told me I couldn't cancel due and if I did they would keep 25 percent of my order which was over $3200. She said it was there policy and I could call the customer service line. I called them this morning and I must say they rude and didn't care about my order because it was a custom order, the lady raised her voice during the call. She stated there was nothing she could do for my inconvenience and that I need to wait for the furniture are lose 25% ..

I was really shocked when I saw the bad reviews about Katy Furniture. I have been a faithful customer since I found this tiny store in a parking lot not too far from their current location. Now, they have grown into this spectacular Store/Showroom that has so many options and is still growing. I did at one point have an issue with a table I purchased but the matter was addressed the very next day. Its really sad to see that out of all the customers this store consumes its just that 1 in a million that has something negative to say.

Everywhere I go I recommend this store, not only for low prices but also for the friendly faces that recognize you and make you feel welcomed. Before you judge a book by its cover defiantly go in and check it out for yourself. You Will be pleasantly surprised.

Very please with the service, quality and price. Our salesperson was Ken, and he led us to exactly what we were looking for. He didn't hover over us. We were able to browse and compare the different sets, and he would occassionally come and ask if we had any questions. I really like the layed-back approach. Star Furnitre made us feel like a deer in the meadow at the hight of hunting season!

My husband and I went here for a sectional and a sofa for our new home. I think we happened to get the right people because they were not overly pushy and were very helpful in directing us but also letting us roam the store.



We ended up getting a leather sectional and a floor sample sofa. Both are awesome and were reasonably priced. We picked up the sofa and the sectional was delivered. The delivery was prompt, friendly, and quick!

The reason I want to write a review is that when my husband brought the clearance sofa home, somehow they had not put the pillows with the sofa for him to bring. He didn't realize there were pillows to begin with, but when I looked up the item, it said it included pillows. I had meant to call with my invoice for a few weeks and ended up calling a month later. The customer service rep offered to order new pillows that I could come pick up because the sofa was no longer available. AWESOME! I really appreciate this kind of service especially knowing how reasonable there prices are.

Nice furniture store with even nicer sales people. Mindy was exceptional and took time to help me design the perfect living room. She handled everything from setting up delivery to even calling me after to make sure I was satisfied and thank me for my business. The prices are reasonable for the quality and look of furniture you get. In a world where customer service seems non existent it's a refreshing change to see such caring employees.

Great service. Our salesman, Anthony was extremely friendly, helpful, and patient with me and my mother as we spent more than an hour making decisions. We ended up getting a living room and dining room set. It was a pleasant shopping experience, I would recommend to anyone.

My sales person was Jonathon. He was friendly, but not pushy. I bought a sofa, love seat, chair & ottoman. We picked it up the same day. Two days later, my son came over to put feet on it. He realized one of the boards in the ottoman were broken. Because of this, the feet could not be added.

I called Katy Furniture, they told me to bring it in and they would replace it. No run around. I am a satisfied customer

My experience in store was really good. The sales associate was not overly pushy for me to buy something, and brought me to the sofas I wanted to see. I was very happy with the sofa I purchased.



Delivery was fine as well. They were somewhat pushy on the time frame of delivery, but overall they were friendly and installed the sofa correctly.

Hands down the best prices in town...if you dont like to barter this is the place for you. They give you the lowest price up front. Payed and picked up my bedroom set on saturday and set it up today everything was smooth. I will be coming back for that recliner I saw.

Honestly I had a wonderful experience here. I read some of the reviews on here and can't believe that people want to complain about a delivery fee!! Really anywhere you go you have to pay delivery. Not only have I purchased three bedrooms from here, but my sister and cousin did as well. All of us saved money and got what we wanted. I have never ever wrote a REVIEW, but after hearing all these people complaining,I had to. I hope if your buying furniture you look at Katy Furniture because they will save you money for sure.. One of the bedroom sets I bought for my daughter was $600 more at Exclusive Furniture.

If you look on my profile, you will see I recently had a terrible experience trying to by furniture with Macy's.

Thankfully I ended up walking into Katy Furniture, and they saved my living room.

The sales lady was very friendly, and helpful, and knew what styles we were looking for. She answered our barrage of questions, and was professionally mortified when we told of our past attempt to buy a sofa. She helped us weigh pros and cons, and never pushed anything we weren't big on. She sold us on a big, comfy leather sofa, with matching chair and ottoman.

She went so far as to call up her delivery manager, at home, on his day off, just to double check she could get us our stuff in a timely manner. The delivery came in 2 days, and I had no less than three confirmations of the order, which was a big relief after my last experience of not receiving my furniture from Macy's. Today I got a sweet Thank You card from her, which prompted me to write this today.

This place is so horrible that it does not even get a rating. First walking in the store I felt like " oh no one is going to greet us." But is comes Ken the store manager out of the four people standing there to help. After going through the process of financing I went and looked at bunk beds for my nephews. Ken was standing there with us but he was several feet away on his ipad. So I chose a bed. He did not explain anything about the bed. This particular bed had a staircase on the side with drawers that lead to the top bunk. The ONLY thing he asked was if I wanted the trundle. I replied no. I said I will get a chest for their clothes and tv. After going through the process of paying for the furniture and left the store I get a call stating that they ordered the wrong chest. I did not have time to go back in and redo paperwork so I said leave it bc I knew which one they had placed on the account. So the bed was delivered today and lo and behold the stairs was not in the box. I called bc I was confused as to why the stairs were not there. He stated that he told me that the staircase was separate. #1 LIE! He only spoke of the trundle. He also stated that is why I suggested the chest. #2 LIE! I said I needed to get a chest. He acted so nonchalant and basically told me it's clear that we have different views about the conversation. I told the customer service girl that she should use her common sense and stop reading the script that was given. This place is horrible and I would not suggest it to the Flinstones.
