I had a couple rooms that lost electricity. Had the option of three electricians--and went with the local one. Wirken showed up the same day I called, came in, took 15 minutes to locate and fix the problem, and left with me feeling tremendous about my decision. I would recommend them to ANYONE. Their prices are very fair, they know their stuff, they're very polite and super prompt. 100% satisfied, A+ company, and will keep their number in my phone for years to come.

Wirken has completed several small jobs for me. I was introduced to them by recommendation from a contractor I know.



They are courteous, efficient and their prices are on a par with other area electricians. They are the ones I call whenever I need wiring done right the first time. They are also sympathetic in a crisis.



In the last major ice age, I purchased a generator to keep from freezing again (after the 5-day outage several years earlier). One of their workers was able to stop by long enough to connect the generator safely and isolate it from the mains, despite the icy streets and busy schedule. He returned a few days later to complete the interior wiring and install a switch box to activate the right circuits (not easy in an old house) for the generator. The price was reasonable, no "emergency" gouging, and I know the system is safe to use.
