Dark Lotus

Spent $1200 bucks to get two tattoos covered up which were all jacked up from another shop. We went to Jeremy, because he supposedly loves cover ups and is supposedly awesome with them. It was very important that these terrible tattoos were completely covered. So now after two sessions each, we both can still see the old tattoos, right through the new one. Just awful. We are in shock and awe. Trying to express your concerns to Jeremy, he just instantly let's you know he is the "Artist" and won't let you get a word in edge wise. I was told that I was to picky......Yeah when I am spending $1200 dollars you bet I am. Money isn't the object, the work is. I would have paid $3000 to get these covered and most likely now will, upon finding the next artist. Yay...... The second he put the stencil on and seen it did not cover up my old tattoo, he should have said, we need to find something else, because this is not going to do it. But no, he is in too much of a hurry to make the ultimate buck, versus, wanting his work to be top notch. I know it sucks to fix someone else's screw up, but don't claim to do it if you can't or don't wish to do it. One thing that surprised me, is they do not offer free touch ups, within one year after the tattoo being done. You know, you can lose ink, during the healing process and you would think they would stand behind their work and they don't . And since you did not cover it up the first time, for what you charged me, you should make it right in the second sitting, not charge me again! I am not an artist, but I do know enough about shading, color saturation and the like. His shading is like backwards. Where it should be light, he shades dark. Where it should be light, he shades dark. I pointed out, every spot that was visible from the old tattoo and told him I really need it covered to rid ourselves of the bad memory. For me, I was not in the chair, any longer than 30 minutes. He touched areas I was not worried about and did not concentrate on the areas I was concerned about. I have 5-10 other pieces I want to get and it won't be happening here. So Jeremy your need to make a quick buck, cost you thousands. Now all we can hope is we can find someone, who cares about their art, customer satisfaction and will listen to us. This time, I won't be as hasty in my decision on who it will be. Research people, before committing to it. We went in for a consult, he bashed other shops, looked at our tattoos for seconds, then asked for a deposit??? WTF? A deposit for what? You were not drawing anything for us? I was hoping so badly, he was "The One" for all future pieces.....$1200 bucks down the drain.

UPDATE: Now that we are all healed up after 4 weeks, we both have some crazy scarring from the work that was done. On all our other tattoos, we have no scarring at all. It looks like Jeremy went to town on us with a chain saw!

I took my girlfriend to get her first tattoo here and we got the artist Brent, first of all he doesn't like to listen about how you want the tattoo and was talking to him didn't help at all. And he was talking down on her because she couldn't get the entire tattoo finished in one appointment, not to mention he was very heavy handed. Now it's been a week and I have been doing the after care for her and I have been applying aquafor on it 2+ times a day and she has gotten an infection in the tattoo and it is starting to flake off! I will be going up there and demanding my money back!

Wouldn't recommend anyone else ;-)
