        Oakes Auto started as an independent car dealership in the Kansas City area. Oakes Auto was founded in 2010 with the belief that all people deserve to be treated with respect and kindness when purchasing a vehicle. In June 2018 Oakes purchased Olathe Mitsubishi and relocated the dealership to its location in Kansas City, Kansas. In December 2018 Oakes added Kia to its family of brands after acquiring Jack Miller Kia in North Kansas City, Missouri.
