Glenn's Pre-Owned Appliances

Paid cash for a washer and dryer, wanted it delivered. They called said it would be 1 to 3 hours. I asked if they could call me a half hour out since it was being delivered to my kids and they were at work. I didn't want to sit in a parking lot for 1 to 3 hours to wait for them. The guy told me no because then I would have his phone number and his wife would want to know why some woman was calling him and he didn't want harassing phone calls. The whole conversation was ridiculous, one minute he said fine he would call me, next he said forget it they wouldn't deliver to me. I told them if they wouldn't deliver I have no way to pick it up I need a refund. He was rude, he was argumentative, he was aggressive. I actually asked the sheriff's department to meet me at the store to mediate the situation so I could get a refund. The woman that runs the store opened up the door looking for a fight even in front of the sheriff. Sheriff finally told me there was no winning with these people and to take them to small claims. The courthouse stated they have lawsuits a mile-long against them. Do your homework, read reviews, check court records yourself, don't buy from these people.

I brought a freezer 13 years ago from Glenn's and it is still running today without no repairs. Very nice people

(Just noticed all the negative reviews Glenn's has gotten and want to share my experience!) Bought an incredible washer and dryer set last year from them. They gave me a great price--I researched the worth. They were very friendly, took care of me and even though the delivery guy was near the end of his shift, he took the time to help me, followed me to our home and delivered and set up the washer and dryer set. Thank you! Which is why I'm reading the reviews today, since a year later, I'm in the market for stands for the set, and after buying a home that had a set, want to make a trade. Love the set still!

Was thinking about going there, then I remembered the reason why I was buying a washer, ... because the other one sold me a lemon that I use a screw driver to keep it going and leaves lightnings of who knows what the heck on my best and most expensive of clothes as if this machine had a sense of humor of her own or is making a point to laugh at my carefully selected best clothes aghgggg $270.00 for a washer and I pay delivery... let's say President's Day... sales sales ... free delivery and haul from home depot.... $329.00 new machine... bye bye....

bought a washer and dryer the dryer stopped working the next day and i called for two days to get it fixed company and person doing the service kept getting an attitude on the phone when asked if they could cone fix it. i had to tell them to stop getting an attitude because we had the 90 day warranty .they are just stating they will come when they are done with the other jobs but are unsure of when. do not recommended item price paid only worked one day

I bought a washer and dryer set back in march 2012. The washer kelp overflowing king my.Downstairs. So I called glenns and told them that I need someone to come fix it. After 5 more phone calls and 1 1/2 month later I called back because no one never came. So when I got in touch with them I told them that I didn't want it & to come get it. I was still within my 90 days warranty. Instead of them taking the washer set back they finally sent someone to fix it and told me they would extend my warranty. 1 month later after my original 90 day warranty they tell me that if my original receipt is passed 90 days then they r gonna charge me $30 to come out to fix it. I'm going to the BBB about this store. I spent $270 and it didn't last after the second month. They tried everything the could not to refund me my money. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GLENNS APPLIANCES IN KANSAS CITY, KS TO ANYONE, NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY!!
