HORRIBLE experience getting a bridesmaid dress shortened here. Final price was 3x the amount advertised for shortening a dress. Her excuse was that it was because it's "for a wedding" and that I came to try it on multiple times. I did not bring my shoes the first time so she encouraged me to try it on then, and again the next week with the shoes, as if it were in my best interest. This was not advertised ANYWHERE. There is no logic behind this as there was no time crunch, no extravagance to the dress, it was 2 layers of flat and thin fabric. I could have bought 2 more of the same dress for what she charged me. Not to mention, the place wreaks of dog pee from the 2 neglected dogs roaming around her shop, free to pee all over the floor and outdated JCP prom dresses.
