Pretty Nails

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!! I went to Pretty nails at Northpark mall in Joplin Missourri and had hands down the worst experience that I could have imagined. I came in with my sister and two friends and had to wait an hour and a half in the salon to finally get our nails done. When it was time to start on our nails the staff was completely rude and non-compliant with our ideas on how we wanted our nails done and argued with us on even getting designs put on! They just mainly wanted to paint solid colors and send us on our way! The man doing my nails was the nicest one of the staff and I still had to argue with him on putting a simple flower design on my nails. Both of my two friends had to argue with the people doing their nails about the designs they wanted. One of my friends gave up on trying to get the design she wanted and just got simple lines on her nails because the man doing her nails admitted to not being able to do many types of designs and she also asked for glitter but the guy said he didnt have any at his station and wasnt going to go ask someone else to borrow theirs.

My sister had overall the worst experience of all of us. She was the last one to get her nails done and the lady that did her nails obviously didnt want to work anymore (she was vacuuming the floor when the guy doing my nails asked her to do my sisters) by the time she got to her it was near closing time. The lady sat at the booth next to me and told my sister to sit. I heard the lady tell my sister that it was near closing time and she couldnt have any design at all! The lady then scolded my sister for not taking off the nail polish she already had on and told her she should have taken off her nail polish before she came to the salon. Without asking my sister what she wanted the lady grabbed my sister's pink fingernail polish and quickly painted all of her nails pink (My sister spent an hour and a half picking out exactly what she wanted and she wanted a french manicure with pink flowers and had picked out pink nail polish for her flowers, she didnt want her entire nail painted pink) I looked over and saw my sister CRYING while she was getting her nails done because the lady was being so rude and hateful. I got upset and told the guy that did my nails that the lady had refused to give my sister any designs and was being rude to my sister and it wasn’t our fault we waited an hour and a half to get our nails done. The man started talking to the lady doing my sisters nails in a foreign language and the lady sent my sister to the nail dryer and stood up and yelled in a different language at him then yelled at me and my sister stating that she would then put on a design if my sister really wanted her to. I told the lady she didn't have to scream and my sister told her no she didn't want a design anymore and continued crying (her nails were already fully colored pink and after the lady clearly didn’t want to do her nails in the first place she wasn't about to let her do a design). The lady then started grumpily talking in foreign language and continued closing everything down. I couldn’t believe how everyone that worked there let her act like that without anybody stepping in.

In conclusion this place was completely unacceptable, the entire staff was very disrespectful, hateful, and unprofessional. I guarantee none of us will be going back and I discourage everyone from going there!

I went here today with a friend of mine. The lady was very rude yelling at my friend because she asked her a question and laughing everytime she told her that the lady was hurting her. She had absolutely no respect for her customers. I would never recommend this place to anyone! Ever. Period. I hope this place gets shut down.

Went in on 8/14/12, waited 40 minutes and he filled my nails then started and finished a manicure before painting mine. When he painted mine he left big gaps and got more on the cuticles than the nail. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Wow
