Outback Steakhouse

Went there and had a great time! Food was awesome and the staff was so friendly!

We ate at Outback shortly after the Christmas Holiday. There were 4 of us plus a baby and we asked for the no smoking section. The only thing that seperates the non smokers from the smokers is a wall between the booths and the bar area so that even the baby was choking on all the smoke coming over the wall at us. We had asked to be moved but our waitress told us there were no other places availabe, though we saw larger tables across the restaurant which were empty (I'm sure they were saving them for a larger number of people but in our situation [i.e. an infant coughing and breathing in the smoke] I feel they should have moved us. Another group of people took a table next to us and also complained of the smoky atmosphere but were immediately moved. The place also has a very inconvenient and uncomfortable seating arrangement as we were within elbow distance of the table next to ours and people were knocking into our chairs as they walked by because the servers were trying to get past the customers as they located seats. Then came the food...outrageously greasy onion blossom, a steak ordered extra well that came rare and when sent back was returned on the same plate but having looked as if it were all slopped on by now and extremely burned. Our drinks were seldom refilled as we tried to choke down the pathetic cuisine and for 4 adults are bill was over $75. Two of us wrote to the company suggesting something be down to cut down on the smoky atmosphere but neither of us received a response.
