College Heights Christian School, established in 1978, is a private, interdenominational, nonprofit school serving preschool through high school students. It provides Christian education to students in Joplin, Mo., and the surrounding communities of southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma. The school s facility includes kindergarten space, classrooms, library, administrative offices, gymnasium, computer lab, and band and choir rooms. The school offers educational and extracurricular activities for all classes, and its curriculum includes a detailed study of various subjects. Its career and guidance center has a certified school counselor. Its sport programs include cheerleading, track and field, basketball, golf, baseball, and cross-country. The school organizes various interactive programs for students, teachers and parents, such as teacher luncheons, prayer warriors, skate nite and newsletters. College Heights Christian School is located in Joplin, Mo.
