St. Bernards Behavioral Health is a private, nonprofit hospital owned and operated by St. Bernards Healthcare in Jonesboro, Ark. The hospital has two divisions, including the 60-bed St. Bernards Behavioral Health Center and the St. Bernards Counseling Center that offers various therapy services for individuals of all ages. The health center serves adolescents and adults and is licensed for the treatment of psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. It provides inpatient hospital services 24 hours, seven days a week. It offers two levels of treatment for adolescent patients, acute care and residential treatment. It operates an alcohol and drug addiction program that employs a multimodal treatment approach, comprising physician care, nursing and psychotherapy. It also comprises Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous programs, activity therapy, pastoral care, infection control, pharmacology and dietary therapy. The center also offers treatment for psychiatric problems.
