AMSURG SURGERY CENTER

My dad went in for cataract surgery for his right eye. We arrived at 8 am. His appointment was at 830 am. He went back right away received the Iv but after that we sat there until 11. My dad was freezing and they had warm blanket's so I said something finally after 20 minutes she brings him one. When the surgeon finally arrived 2 hours late a nurse stopped him right in front of us to gossip, complain about another patient that had Medicare and so they continued to complain about the patient not being able to pay as my dad lays there cold, hungry because he was not allowed to eat or drink since last night. All we heard was gossip and complaints from the nursing staff about patients, each other and the surgeon's, very unprofessional!! There station was right in front of us. Instead of focusing on their patients that's what they did. After another hour passed my dad was cold again so I went and got another blanket for him since everyone there was too busy gossiping to notice or care. We will never come back to this place for any procedure!!!
