Located in Johnstown, N.Y., Knox Junior High School conducts classes in English, math, science and social studies. The school offers a range of extracurricular activities that includes drama, music, art and chorus. It provides special education classes for gifted and talented students. It conducts French and Spanish language classes. Knox Junior High School also operates a student council and yearbook club. The school has a parent-teacher-student association that organizes several fundraising activities, including fall festivals, holiday parties and puppet shows. It supports a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, volleyball, baseball, field hockey, cross country, and track and field. In addition, it provides food, guidance counseling and health care.
