mOdat is a boutique Video Production Company specializing in web based and commercial production. Serving the Publishing, Television and Recording Industries, we produce Digital, Web and TV content, Marketing and Press Reels, Sizzle Tapes, EPK's and Behind the Scenes of Editorial Events. mOdat provides Talent, Host, and Media Training services to Record Companies, Publicity Firms and TV Channels, and on camera and hosting talent and voice overs for live events and production. Being a boutique company allows us to give our clients personalized service, connecting with their individual needs and personalities. From concept to execution, we are up to date with current trends and technologies, and creatively on the cutting edge. Aside from being a co-owner and producer at mOdat, Amy Scott is a nationally known television and radio personality and commercial actress. Her on camera career has spanned the dial, from VH1, to CNN, and Fox News. You may have seen her most recently as the Trend Correspondent for Every Day with Rachael Ray, hosting on VH1 Classic, or heard her on CBS-FM ( Jack-FM ) and several channels on Sirius Radio. Her voice-overs have been heard on promos and commercials for clients including HBO, MTV, Columbia TriStar, and Lifetime Television. Years of work in front of the camera both in News and Entertainment Television led naturally to her skills as a producer/director and media and host trainer. Shana Scott has had a long run in television, producing everything from music television programming and live events for VH1 and Fuse TV, to daytime talk show segments for Tyra Banks, Rachael Ray and Nate Berkus, and as a freelance development executive for Al Roker Productions. After graduating from the University of Texas Film School, Shana's first job was as Assistant Casting Director on the now cult classic Dazed and Confused where she discovered an unknown named Renee Zellweger and gave her her first movie role, as Girl #1 . She left the glamorous life of film behind in Texas, when she moved to New York in the early 90's to take her skills to the small screen. She has not looked back, though she misses the margaritas. Combining their talents, Amy and Shana started mOdat in 1997, and have been going strong ever since.
