Francine's Photography

We hired Francine for our daughters wedding and now we hired a lawyer. The wedding was 12/13/14 and we still do not have our photos or album. She required payment before the wedding. Our formal bridal photo was blurry. She left a camera with our wedding photos behind at the reception site. She is not responding to our lawyer. BRIDES BEWARE!

I used Francine Photography for my kids first birthday photos. She was very friendly and I was comfortable with her. I felt as though I could trust her. I paid for my pictures in full (stupid) before receiving them on my credit card (thankfully). After I called her a couple of times she returned my call and said she only had my Christmas cards and wallets, and that the others had not arrived yet. I was disappointed but did not think too much about it. Unfortunately, after that I didn't hear back from her. I called and called and left message after message with no response. I felt as though she was screening my calls so I had my husband finally call her and she answered immediately! She again was very bubbly and cheerful and once again made excuses as to why the photos weren't there. He informed her that we would be contacting our credit card company for a refund because it had been three months and we had not received what we paid for. She called my husband back the following day and said all the photos had arrived! Wow! What a miracle! Unfortunately, the portraits still had the imperfections that she was supposed to correct but did not so we just had to live with them. I will never use her again! I would not recommend wasting your time, effort or money on this business! I have since found better photographers that are cheaper!

I ordered a small package of Senior pictures from Francine's that she took at Bixby schools. She always emailed me right back if I emailed her a question. Their pictures turned out amazing! I will use her again without hesitation!

Where to begin...well up until the wedding she was the easiest person to get a hold of, and then after the wedding she just dropped off the planet. She would not answer her phone calls or respond to emails (except to offer us upgrades to a photo album we are still yet to get a year and a half after the wedding). She promised to give us ALL the ORIGINAL photos of the wedding. It took us forever to actually get the disks and that was no easy feat to get. We had to threaten potential legal action in order to GET WHAT WE PAID FOR. Well we finally got the CD's and I don't know if she lied to us or just has horrible camera skills. Nearly half the photos are of low quality. You can tell which ones were taken by her (terrible, bad lighting, fuzzy, bad angles etc) and which ones were taken by her actually competent assistant photographer. She is very friendly and charming, but please beware! She is very poor at following through with what she promises. With the picture quality, it sucks but maybe it was just bad luck (unprofessional bad luck but still, things happen, people forget things). With the followthrough, I cannot let that slide because it was not just a one time thing. Another couple, friends of ours, had the same problems with her that same summer. I would advise people to keep looking and go with someone else. Yes she has been in the business for 35 years but I think perhaps she has become complacent and just tries to use that to try to get business instead of actual skill, in both photography and customer service.

I am writing this review as a concern regarding Francine's Photography, and hopefully be able to save another bride and family the experience and heartache we had with her company. I hired her for a three day event in Summer of 2010, and spent thousands of dollars. We have found Francine to not honor her agreements and commitments, does not return phone calls to discuss concerns, and she has sold all of our photographs on a CD along with a copyright release to others to distribute however they choose and we have no control of who is receiving or posting any of our personal, private, and intimate moments. We are heartbroken, and do not want to see this happen to another bride or family on a day which is supposed to be one of the happiest moments of their lives.
