Amity Baptist Church

I was raised as a little girl in Amity when Rev. James R. Moore was the Pastor and his wife name was Gladys. I was baptized there when I was 8 years old in the pool behind the altar. I went to Sunday school and I remember the big wooden cross out in front of the church. I remember B.T.U. and the Children's Choir. I left Amity when I moved at age 11. I would love to visit the church one day. My foster mother and father were devout members of Amity for years. Their name was Mr. Alonzo & Mrs. Janie Bailey.
