Established in 1894, the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine is an educational facility that offers courses in public health, biomedical research, animal medicine and veterinary medical education. With more than 310 faculty members and over 700 staff members, it enrolls nearly 5,000 graduate students, postgraduate students and doctorate students. The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine offers internship and residential education programs for advanced work in clinical veterinary specialties.
