Craniosacral Massage
Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on treatment that consistently provides relief from a variety of symptoms, including headaches, neck pain, and side effects of cancer treatment, among many others. Sometimes referred to as craniosacral therapy, in its simplest form CST is a bodywork that relieves compression in the bones of the head, sacrum (a triangular bone in the lower back), and spinal column. The end result removes “blockages” from otherwise normal flow. This, in turn, enhances the body’s ability to heal and thereby boosts immunity. Lindsey ChiroPlus is among Lake and McHenry County’s community of massage therapists, physical therapists, osteopaths, and chiropractors who are able to perform Cranial Sacral therapy. Bear in mind, Cranial Sacral Therapy can be part of an already-scheduled treatment visit or the sole purpose for your appointment. It’s entirely dependent on the individual’s own specific needs.
