I've had to take my wife's GMC Envoy to Fat Joes's for some repairs and have gotten great service each time! They are courteous and honest about the repairs needing to be done and get it done right away. It's hard to find a good automotive repair shop that won't give you the run around and dig deep into your pockets. I had a minor leak in my break system on my car and Mr. Joe showed me what is was and in minutes it was fixed!!! I recommend Fat Joe's to anyone who wants their vehicles fixed right the first time!

I went to this place to install my air bag suspension in my truck. they charged me 880 dollars. whatever they did nothing was right. I went back then charged me 75 dollars. still it wasn't right. went back again charged me 350 dollars. stll they don't know what they are doing. I brought my truck back next day. still nothing was right. at last they said "we just installed every thing . we don't know what to say now" so ended up losing all this money time. so iam not going back there and never going to deal with this guys. thanks

We have been going to Fat Joe's for at least 15 years. They are the most efficient car repair people in the area. They always come to get us if we need to have our car towed and are very prompt to let us know what is wrong with our car. We have always felt like they are honest and treat their customers as if they are the only one in the place. We would recommend Fat Joe's to anyone. Joey is just the best.

We LOVE Fat Joe's. We have been going there since they opened quite a few years ago and they are the best. Yesterday they did an oil change on my car for free to thank us for our business. Once someone tried to steal my catalytic converter and I had to have my car towed. They didn't charge me for towing. Another time we had a problem after a repair. They sent someone to our house for an adjustment. No more problems. They are the best.

Today 7/14 I had a flat tire and i needed to fix it asap. I drove to Fat Joes to get it repair however it was closed. Joe and another mechanic were working on a car and ask me if I needed help with something. I explained to them that I thought I had a nail and i needed to fix it. Without a hesitation they fixed it really quick. The greatest park about it was that ut was raining and they didnt mind fixing it while getting wet. Amazing people amazing service. They where great, I would recommend Fat Joe to everyone I know!!!! =] thank you fat Joe

I have been working on my own cars for over 40 years, but did not have the time to work on my daughter's 2000 Mit Galant. I took her car to Fat Joe's in November 2012 to replace leaking oil seals and to replace the timing belt and water pump. A few weeks later, I had to take the vehicle back to FJ’s due to an engine light and a misfire code. I specifically asked FJ’s to check the timing on the motor. Picked the car up after having the original work rechecked and it was still missing and running poorly. I finally broke down and took the car to Don Herring Mitsubishi in Irving where I have always had good service, quality work performed, but a bit more pricey. I spoke with Ebby, the Service Mgr and Ivan, the lead mechanic. I explained my situation and left the car with them and said "Fix It". Ebby and Ivan always provide excellent service and are very professional. Ivan spent an entire day working on the vehicle, and whala!, found the problem, The timing was approximately 4 notches off time. Ivan reset the timing. The car ran great and the engine light was off. I was trying to save a few bucks by taking my daughter's car to FJ's instead of the dealer. Ultimately, the dealer had to fix it anyway, and overall it cost me twice as much to fix the problem. The only positive note, when I took this up with Joe, the owner, he did at least reimburse me for the labor costs (but not parts). The shotty work performed by FJ's was a tremendous inconvenience, cost me twice as much in aggravation and dollars, and we are very fortunate the engine was not severely damaged due to the timing error. I will never trust FJ's with another of my vehicles again. It may have just been a sloppy mechanic, but take your vehicle to FJ's at your own risk.

I have been to Fat Joe's 2 times now and each time, I've had a great experience. They never pressure you to have more done than what you need and they are vet helpful and knowledgable. I will continue to be a long-time customer of Fat Joe's and would recommend them to anyone. Plus, I like supporting a local/family business, especially one that does such a great job! They are awesome!

My boyfriend and I have been using this shop for a while. We went in for an oil change and it turned out the filter was faulty. It leaked oil, we took it back to Joe's and they were so kind and professional they took full responsibility and replaced my entire engine free of cost and redid my oil change. I know there is bad reviews, but I DO NOT see this shop ever trying to rip anyone off. 5 star recommend.



Its rare when you deal face to face with an owner and family.

I've been going here for years. They rebuilt an automatic transmission on one car and the shifts were so smooth I couldn't feel them. They are friendly and professional. This is one place you can depend that the problem will be fixed correctly. In addition, there are no mysterious car problems a week or so later needing additional repairs as I experienced at several different repair shops. The prices are fair not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I've been to Fat Joe's 6 or 7 times after being reffered by a friend. They are wonderful! they always fixed my problems right, had it done when they said it would be done, at a very reasonable rate, and are really nice people. Waiting room was clean , comfortable, and cheerful people to be around. I've never even met another customer who was unhappy with them. Absolutely would recommend them to a friend, my sister, or anyone. How nice to find a good honest mechanic, and his family! It's the only place I go to have my car worked on now. I trust them.
