Isa African Hair

Both hair braiders constantly laughed and talked in their language which was rude. I felt as if some of this comments were directed to me or my daughter. The braids were beautiful but they were not friendly. Not sure if I'll return

i must say that ive had a good experience at Isa hair braiding everytime ive went. im a repeat customer and so is my sisters and mother. ive been ti many African braiding shops and the usual complaint is that the stylists are rude and constantly talking amongst themselves in their language right over you while doing your hair...not this shop. these women were so nice and polite to us. they made sure we were comfortable and offered us movies to watch and drinks. im very particular about my hair and ive been so pleased with the quality. i get complimentms everywhere i go. Isa was always patient with me although i was sometimes picky and annoying being that i was pregnant when i started going there lol i even like to create my own styles and she cool with that taking her time to make sure its what im looking for. my hair has grown not fallen out at all. ive been going there for about 6mths now and will continue to do so. i recommend this shop all the time. check them out for yourself im sure youll love your hair.

Not to go here. I went to her shop on a whim since I needed my hair done asap. I had already been to the salon when I was younger and remember that the owner never kept her appointments, but still I decided to go anyways. I will give Isa credit, she does nice braids but its not worth it if your hair falls out. After taking down my braids my edges have thinned and she also braided my baby hairs in the back which later ripped out as they were very delicate and short. I also asked for individuals braids and left out with micros as she braids very small. But overall my biggest complaint is the fact that she made me pay in advance before even touching my hair since she had a customer who didn't pay her, I can understand her frustration in that but have a little trust in your new clients, and last but not least as soon as she was done braiding my hair, she was done, I wasn't even aware that she was done she just walked away, didn't style my hair into a updo or nothing just left it. I haven't been back since.
