Overall

I do not recommend this salon. On a Friday afternoon, I had my nails done with a gel manicure in white, and they looked pretty good. Not the best attention to details, but very acceptable. The very next day while out of town, my nails started turning brown at the tips! It looked so peculiar, as if the brush used was dipped in a different chemical because the color gradually changed from a brownish color from the tips, back to white near the cuticle...it looked like an ombré! And each nail had a slightly different shading, from darker to lighter browns. That was not the look I was going for, and it was quite disappointing after spending over $70 (plus a $10 gratuity) for a gel manicure and pedicure. I went back to the salon the following Monday and showed the same nail tech my nails and asked how this could've happened, and she said I was "probably cleaning with chemicals or something like that" to make my nails turn brown. I explained to her that I had been out of town for a wedding over the weekend and didn't even wash a dish, let alone clean anything! (Also, I've had gel manicures before and have never had any issues with the color changing like that, but never have I used a white color before). I asked her for a color change, since the white color/polish used clearly did not stay white. She offered to change the color, but quickly added that she would have to charge me for the service because she wasn't sure what I did to make it change! I was shocked because it seemed apparent to me the problem came from the products she used, not from something I did. I did not stay and pay for a color change, as I thought the nail technician and/or salon should honor the change at no charge, since it was apparent (to me, and others I showed this mysterious development to) that the problem was more than likely related to the products or technique used. I politely reminded her that I was sure I'd not cleaned anything or used any chemicals over the weekend, and I did nothing I knew of to cause this. The nail technician just sat there looking up at me, and without any facial expression, she simply shook her head, indicating she would not. I found her attitude to be indifferent, quite unprofessional and almost rude. I won't be going back.

Overall
Very poor quality. And VERY RUDE!!!

I have been going to another nail salon for over a year and have NEVER had any problems with my nails. I thought I would try Tips and Toes because it was closer. Now I wish I would have NEVER gone there. I have gotten my nails done there twice. I have an overlay on my nails. And since I have switched from the place I used to go my nails are breaking off. I don't know if it's from poor quality stuff they use to fill your nails or what. But like I said before the other place I was going to I NEVER had my nails break off!! And when I told them after only 2 days of having my nails done and they broke off, they didn't want to do anything except charge me MORE money to get them fixed. I had already spent $65 plus tips to get my nails done there. I don't feel it's right for them to charge me MORE money to fix them since its only been 2 days!! When I tried to talk to them and tell them it wasn't fair to charge me, they just told me it would be $18 to redo them. Then they hung up on me!!! That's not how your supposed to treat your customers!! I have referred a lot of people!!!
