They kicked us out because my friend has tonsillitis and did not give us a full refund. Besides descriminating and taking our money (my friend was not even smoking and has been on medicine) don't go here. They take your money and it is $20 for two people and the owner said my friend cannot "have his disease here"

Its my pleasure to visit local coffee shops in the area. I recently noticed that Starbucks had left their location on Allisonville and Cafe Du Meemo had taken its place. My family and I left for church a little early for church this morning to stop by and pick up some drinks on our way. We pulled in to the torn up parking lot and looked at the cafe with the white plastic outdoor tables that were stacked as if they were put away for the evening. Initially we wondered if the cafe was even open until we notice the front door that was open.
The smell of smoke was noticeable in the air as my daughter and walked in to the shop. The atmosphere still had much of Starbucks aura filled unique tea pots and cups, ornate hookahs, and other interesting pieces. That gave me some hope for the coffee I was soon to experience. The young woman at the counter took my order for a small decaf vanilla latte, a small hot chocolate, and a medium mocha.
I walked around the shop admiring the many interesting articles while my daughter climbed upon the second hand furniture and outdoor tables and chairs while we awaited our drinks. After a while we approached the bar where the young woman was preparing our drinks. After quite some time we received our drinks and proceeded on our way.
Upon first taste of our drinks we found (all three) we were all disgusting. Each and everyone was luke warm, and flavorless. Instant machines made better drinks than these. If it wasnt for attempting to make it to church on time I woudl have went in and demanded my money back.
In the end we ended up pouring out our drinks and watched as $10 went down the drain! Now we know we will never return to Cafe Du Meemo.

This place could hardly be named a cafe. With its poor assortment of food and strange work hours, it is not even close to the inviting and warm atmosphere that Starbucks used to offer. Don't recommend it.

If you want a convenient place to smoke tobacco with others your age this place will serve that purpose. Along with poor ventilation system your lungs will take a beating; even if you do not wish them to. Looking for a cool place to enjoy some Middle Eastern food? Two words, “Not here.” The location proves to be the most difficult to overcome, located on the corner of two busy intersecting roads. The poor service and rare business hours hardly make Café Du Meemo a restaurant. As we tried to get in contact with the owner he/she was unable to be reached at any given time of the day. Over all I do not recommend this establishment unless you are willing to walk into a cloud of smoke, eat low quality tasting food, and be susceptible to an atmosphere where good cleaning rituals have been overlooked.
