I went in for some parts to repair my daughters brake on her scooter. Jim asked if I needed help & I brought the scooter in & he found what I needed but asked me if I had the tools to complete the repair, I said no & he put the parts on & repaired the brake. His job, so to speak, is to get me the parts I needed but he went above & beyond when he did the compete repair. These days it's not very common to find customer service that excels & goes above & beyond the regular line of duty. Jim repaired my daughters scooter like it was for his own child & seemed sincerely happy to do it. I can't say enough how much that meant to me. Awesome experience. Thank you Jim.

I've so far bought a professional-grade Stihl chain saw and a post hole auger from them. In both cases I received a full tutorial session with my purchase. When I had warm-starting issues with the chain saw (the model's notorious for that) they tore down the entire fuel system free of charge, then instructed me again on how to warm-start the unit. Turns out I'd been doing it wrong all along, so it was simply operator error! It's worked flawlessly and started easily ever since, and is the best saw I've ever owned. I look forward to buying a weed trimmer, brush trimmer and anything else Stihl sells and I need from these guys in the future. I tried the Blue Springs Stihl dealer first, and they frankly couldn't care less whether I lived or died in their store. Sladek's Stihl crew is professional, customer-oriented, provide excellent and FAST service, and are all easy to talk to. Definitely worth the drive from anywhere in the KC area.
