I could write a number one best selling novel about Maywood Transmissions. I started three generations of family going to Maywood Transmissions. When I first started going to Maywood Transmissions I was having a lot of problems with water pumps on my car. Maywood honored all warranties. They ate the cost several times. They made sure my car was completely repaired.

They went above and beyond for me. I live within walking distance but they gave me a rides home because they didn't want anything to happen to me and has even given me a ride to my mothers in Northeast Kansas City.



I started sending my parents to them (dad is gone now) but mom still goes. They treat my mother as they would treat their own mother. They didn't do any unnecessary work on her car. They went above and beyond for them also. My son goes there and had referred his buddies which now go there. My husband takes his truck. My mother-in-law takes her car and my brother-in-law takes his truck. I have referred family, friends, co-workers and anyone needing any type of auto repairs.



They take the time to explain every repair so that I can understand and what all it will take to repair my car. Stan and Jeff are awesome people!!!! David is also nice and considerate, I'm just getting to know him. My car is always dirty and when they have had time they have cleaned my car. That's been really nice to have a clean car. They are honest people.

My car had been to 3 other local shops and they could not find what was wrong with my Impala. Maywood quoted me a price to run tests which I approved, they called me less than an hour later with a quote for repairs informed me the parts would not be available till the following day. They called before noon to tell me it was fixed and my bill was less than they quoted me. They fixed it cheaper than 2 of the places charged me to look at it, I am impressed with my first visit and will return next time I need anything for my car. they informed me of another problem with my car, but told me it was not a safety concern and that I could wait till summer to make the repaired. Thanks for your honesty.

Great people and thats what makes a business. I have been to Maywood three times The customer service is great (you can tell when people care), clean building and fair prices.

I had high expectations for Maywood Auto Repair because I was referred by one of my girl friends. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by a friendly staff that really made me feel comfortable.

They listened to my concerns, went for a test drive with me, they explained some tests would be required to find the problem, and explained why this was necessary.

They offered me a ride to work and gladly dealt with the no phone calls at work policy my employer has, so they e-mailed my estimate, and sent me a text to confirm my car was ready.

When I picked up my car I was shocked to find they washed and vacuumed my car for free! This is a huge bonus for me because I hate to clean my car!

I have found my new repair shop, they are definitely female friendly.
